Expand your repertoire and confidence working with clients in the immediate moment, avoid getting lost in words, and find creative ways to bring flexibility back into sticky situations.
Do you sometimes wish for new impulses or notice a lack liveliness when working with your clients as a coach, consultant, or therapist? Maybe you listen to their words or long stories without knowing how to help make an impact now?
This intensive one-day workshop offers you a practice-oriented deep-dive into some potent and creative techniques from Gestalt practice and will help you build methodological confidence and courage to intervene directly in the moment to get “stuck” situations moving again.
The focus is on using the “here and now” of what unfolds in the client/therapist situation as a powerful resource for awareness and change. You will learn how to shift from talking about to exploring and experiencing together, thereby opening up new perspectives and possibilities for choice.
We concentrate on experiential skills that you can immediately integrate into your existing work, and will help you with ideas for grading experiments to different situations and clients. Through live demonstrations, small group exercises, feedback and personal experience, you will expand your ‘tool kit’ and build confidence and self-awareness.
In this workshop we will:
•Sharpen our ability to be present and attentive in the moment
•Learn to use non-verbal signals and bodily sensations as valuable sources of information
•Develop creative experiments to make hidden dynamics visible and workable
•Play with using objects, working with the body, “chair work” and other dialogical techniques to explore inner conflicts and relational patterns
•Strengthen your confidence to work in a process-oriented and effective way, even without knowing all the story

This workshop is designed for professional coaches, consultants, therapists, and anyone working in one-to-one settings who wants to expand their process-oriented, creative and relational way of working.
